Cosplay Contest: Doppelgänger and Masquerade

Hello, everyone!

We are glad to announce a traditional cosplay contest dedicated to Caliber’s Birthday.

Everyone can participate: professional cosplayers as well as amateurs. That’s why there are two categories.

Doppelgänger: a category for professionals, who can reproduce operators’ outfits as accurately as possible.
Masquerade: a category for amateurs, who can reproduce a recognizable outfit with available materials.

Dates: from September 17 to October 21. The results will be published within 14 work days after the submission end date.

DOPPELGÄNGER CONTEST

For the Doppelgänger contest, you will have to use realistic combat equipment to create your cosplay — such as airsoft weapons. Fake props are allowed, but only if they are used in your character Outfit of choice.

PRIZES

First place: 20,000 Coins and the Art Emblem as well as commemoration of your nickname on the Depo map.
Second place: 17,500 Coins and the Art emblem.
Third place: 15,000 Coins and the Art emblem.
Fourth place: 12,500 Coins and the Art emblem.
Fifth place: 10,000 Coins and the Art emblem.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTEST ENTRY:

Choose any Caliber character.
Recreate that character using combat equipment or weaponry, such as airsoft equipment.
Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
Email your photo to cosplaycaliber@gmail.com, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

MASQUERADE CONTEST

At first glance, this is a comic category, which nevertheless requires you to show creativity and assemble a recognizable operator’s outfit with available materials.

Mops, curtains, plastic bottles — use anything that will help you match the chosen outfit.

By the way, robot cosplay is also acceptable. Can you reproduce Hagana’s Turret or Buddy to make your outfit even better? This will only benefit you.

PRIZES

First place: 15,000 Coins and the Art Emblem as well as commemoration of your nickname on the Depo map.
Second place: 12,500 Coins and the Art emblem.
Third place: 10,000 Coins and the Art emblem.
Fourth place: 7,500 Coins and the Art emblem.
Fifth place: 5,000 Coins and the Art emblem.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTEST ENTRY:

Choose any Caliber character.
Recreate them using common household items and/or clothes, without utilizing any authentic combat equipment or weaponry.
Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
Email your photo to cosplaycaliber@gmail.com, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

CONTEST ENTRY GUIDELINES

Participants may submit only their own work.
Participants may not submit entries which have already been used in previous competitions.
One participant may submit a single entry for each Contest. One participant may submit two entries in total, if they are participating in both Contests.
Entries must be created specifically for these Contests.
Entries must abide by the Rules of Conduct and not violate any moral, ethical, or legal provisions.
By participating in the Contest, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to its terms and conditions.
The Organizer reserves the right to make any and all decisions on all matters related to the Contest at their own discretion.
The winning photos and videos may be published on the Organizer's official website and social media platforms at the Organizer's discretion.
The use of photo editing software for heavy editing of the entry or other attempts to add more value to the entry are forbidden.
Participants are allowed to use software to apply color correction.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Each entry is evaluated by four members of the jury (developers) according to the specific predetermined criteria.

Each criterion is evaluated on a scale from 1 to 9 points. The total score of the entry will be the average of the jury’s scores.

COSPLAY

Similarity to the character.
The overall quality of the entry.
The level of detail in the outfit.
The originality of the materials used.

By participating in the Contest you agree to adhere to the Contest Rules (the Masquerade | the Doppelgänger), the Privacy Policy and the Rules of Conduct. Please familiarize yourself with them before sending any entries. By sending photos, you consent to the transfer of exclusive rights for your works to 1C-777 Limited.
