Common Cause: Victorious March

Hello fighters!

On April 30, the annual big Common Cause event will begin in Caliber. During this event, the entire community must unite to achieve a common victory together, step by step.

Each player who contributes to Common Cause will receive valuable rewards. The main thing is not to stand aside.

The event will last from April 30 to June 11. In this dispatch, we will tell you what you need to know to be ready for the march.

Good luck on your way to victory!

TOGETHER — ONLY FORWARD!

The enemy has lost the initiative: it’s time to begin a decisive offensive. Our goal is to finally turn the tide of the battle and advance the frontline with confidence.

By earning Combat Merits and moving the progress bar forward, you get closer to completing the mission. To claim chapter rewards, you must achieve a victory and earn at least one Combat Merit during the event.

CHAPTERS

This year, the event is divided into three chapters: each of them will take place at a certain period of time. To get the chapter rewards, you must participate in it and then collect the rewards.

Each stage is a test for resilience and courage.

If the operation fails at any stage, the Supply Center will only provide a small allowance.

However, the path of a true fighter is not about consolation pittances, but about Victory and well-deserved trophies!

COMBAT MERITS

Combat Merits are the main measure of your effectiveness during the event. They can be earned for winning battles, completing objectives, requesting reinforcement on the event tab, participating in operations, logging into the game, and leveling up the new Return of Legends Battle Pass, which will be covered in the following materials.

VICTORIES IN BATTLES

Venture into any game mode and win battles to earn Combat Merits. Victories in the thematic Storm mode will bring the most significant contribution to Common Cause: this is where you can earn the maximum number of Combat Merits.

In this event, you will be able to increase the number of Combat Merits you earn for victories in battles thanks to the bonus system. For complying with certain conditions, the reward will increase: each active bonus will add +20% to your Merits.

Bonus list:

  1. Be a member of any clan.
  2. Win in battles while playing in a fireteam with any player*.
  3. Win in battles while playing in the fireteam with a clanmate*.
  4. Purchase any Episode of the Return of Legends Battle Pass**.
  5. Purchase all chapters of the Return of Legends Battle Pass.

* To activate this bonus, it’s enough to have one player in a fireteam. Additional teammates don’t increase the bonus.

** For purchasing from one to three Battle Pass Episodes, the bonus will be +20%. For purchasing the entire Battle Pass at once, the bonus will increase to +40%.

OPERATIONS

No victory can be achieved without secret sabotages and targeted special operations. Prepare your fighters and send them where courage and careful planning are required. Let them do what they do best: accomplish the impossible.

There are three types of operations, and each of them can be performed an unlimited number of times. To carry out these ops, you will need currency and a couple of trusted operators.

  1. Guerrilla Recon. Requires two operators and 1,000 Credits. Duration: 8 hours. Reward: 100 Combat Merits.
  2. Special Objective. Requires two operators and 200 Envelopes*. Duration: 4 hours. Reward: 800 Combat Merits and 10 Fireworks Boxes.
  3. Classified Objective. Requires two operators and 500 Envelopes. Duration:  2 hours. Reward: 4,000 Combat Merits, 20 Fireworks Boxes, and a Victorious March Container.

*Envelope — event currency. Can be obtained from the event store and gained as a reward for daily and weekly objectives.

Operations can be launched simultaneously, though you have to keep in mind that while operators are out on an operation, they are unavailable for battles. If you change your plans, the operation can be canceled, and all spent resources will be returned.

OBJECTIVES

During the Victorious March, a special objective will be available. For completing it, you will receive extra Combat Merits.

As soon as the objective is completed, it will immediately be replaced with a new one: more difficult, but with a more generous reward.

Over time, the objective difficulty will decrease, making it easier to complete. But if you don’t want to wait, you can always reduce difficulty right away by spending Envelopes.

CALLING IN REINFORCEMENTS

On the Common Cause tab, you will be able not only to monitor progress, but also influence the result personally. For this, you need to call in one of the types of reinforcements: Shelling, Supply, and Airstrike.

  • Shelling — a powerful strike fired at enemy positions behind the frontline. Grants 300 Combat Merits to global progress and Personal Impact. Cost: 100 Envelopes.
  • Supply — delivery of supplies to the allies. Grants 800 Combat Merits to global progress and Personal Impact. Cost: 200 Envelopes.
  • Airstrike — precision bombing of enemy territory. Grants 4,000 Combat Merits to global progress and Personal Impact. Cost: 500 Envelopes.

Each call you make not only brings all community closer to victory, but also increases your Personal Impact reward!

COMBAT MERITS FOR LOGGING IN

For daily login, you will receive 100 Combat Merits.

If you decide to support the advance and purchase Battle Pass Episodes, your daily bonus will increase:

  • Without Episodes: 200 Combat Merits.
  • One Episode purchased: 800 Combat Merits.
  • All Episodes purchased: 2,000 Combat Merits.

You can receive a login reward every day, starting at 8 AM UTC.

PERSONAL IMPACT

Your impact on Common Cause won’t be unnoticed. At the bottom of the event tab, you can see how many Combat Merits you have already earned at the current stage.

This is where all the rewards are shown: already received — they’re added automatically when the required number of Combat Merits is reached — and those that are still waiting in the wings.

PERSONAL IMPACT REWARDS

Every victory brings you closer not only to the common goal, but also to personal trophies.

As a reward for your Personal Impact, you can receive: Credits, XP Boosters, Days of Premium, thematic event Containers with customization elements, an animated “For the Motherland” Emblem, and, most importantly, a Victorious March Container with a reward weapon.

The Weapon Container can be obtained only once during the entire event. In the container, you can find the legendary TT-33 pistol for two random operators as well as the exclusive main reward: the legendary Thompson submachine gun for Medic Ded.

Thompson will come to the fastest and most decisive players, the item is strictly limited! Keep an eye on the Container tab on the event screen for a hint: it will tell you if there are still any SMGs left.

If you don't make it in time and won’t be among the lucky ones, then instead of the Thompson SMG you'll get a random procured primary weapon for a random operator.

HOW TO GAIN ENVELOPES

It's simple: just complete daily and weekly objectives, and Envelopes will come straight to you. Together with Envelopes, you will receive Fireworks Boxes: even in the middle of the fiercest battle, you will be able to illuminate the battlefield with the lights of Victory and provide comrades with additional ammo.

Besides, if there are any Team Reserves left, they can also be used: exchange them for Fireworks Boxes at the rate of 5 Reserves for 1 Box.

And if you don’t have enough time to complete objectives, don’t worry! You can always purchase Envelopes in the thematic store for Coins.

HOLIDAY STORE

On the Holiday Showcase, you can find: a Victorious March Container with thematic items, Envelopes, and Fireworks Boxes.

But there’s more to it! On this Showcase, you can launch fireworks at the HQ to celebrate the holiday with every fighter in Caliber.

There are three types of fireworks are available:

  • Regular fireworks: 3 single-color salvos plus a greeting in the chat. Cost: 50,000 Credits.
  • Multicolor fireworks: 13 multicolor salvos plus a greeting in the chat. Cost: 50 Envelopes.
  • Signature fireworks: 40 multicolor salvos plus a greeting on behalf of the player in the chat. Cost: 100 Envelopes.

After purchasing, fireworks are sent to the general queue and will be launched automatically as soon as their time comes.

The store will be available from April 30 until June 18.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What will happen to unused Envelopes and Fireworks Boxes after the end of the event?

All remaining Envelopes and Fireworks Boxes will be automatically exchanged for Credits:

• Each Envelope for 50 Credits (or 100 Credits if your Premium is active).
• Each Fireworks Box for 10 Credits.
Can I complete a Personal Impact objective without having to wait for stages to start?

You can complete a Personal Impact objective right away with no binding to the event stages.
What if I haven't collected a reward for a stage and the next one has already started?

Don’t worry: you can collect your reward at any moment on the event tab, even if the event stage is already complete. The main thing is to do this before the event ends!
How can I track common progress and Personal Impact?

On the event tab. The common community progress is displayed on the top bar, and the bottom bar shows your Personal Impact.
Is the Fireworks Box just a decoration?

No, this is a completely functional Team Reserve, similar to the Ammo Bag. Alongside with beautiful fireworks, you and your teammates will be able to take ammo.
Why can’t I choose my operator?

Probably, you’ve sent them to an operation, and this operator won’t be available until it ends. You can cancel the operation on the Common Cause tab and save the spent resources.
I opened a Container with a reward weapon, but didn’t get a Thompson. Why?

The number of Thompson SMGs is limited, so only the fastest players, who opened this Container, got the reward. If you get another item, then the limit has been reached.
I play with two friends in a fireteam, but the victory bonus is only 20% instead of 40%. Why?

The bonus applies whenever there is a teammate in your fireteam, but it doesn’t increase if there are more players in your team. The bonus doesn’t depend on the number of players: one teammate is enough for its activation.
I activated the bonuses, but launching reinforcements doesn’t grant more Combat Merits. Why?

The bonuses apply only to the reward for winning battles. Reinforcements provide a fixed number of Combat Merits: they don’t grant any bonuses.
How can I get rewards for Common Cause?

To claim event rewards, you must earn at least one Combat Merit until June 11. Rewards won’t be available without it: participation is required, even if it’s minimal!
