The hospital used to be the pride of the Karkhad healthcare system. This gigantic complex is full of state-of-the-art equipment, facilitating a wide array of treatments and complex surgeries.
After the start of the civil war, all sides wished to capture this valuable strategic asset for themselves. After some serious fights, it has fallen into the hands of the Al-Thurir terrorist group, but the government has not abandoned its attempts to reclaim the hospital.
