Onslaught: Shadows of Fear

Be ready to fear. Be ready to unite. Be ready to fight.

On October 22, a gate to the Cursed Forest will open—a grim heart of the nightmare, where trials, insanity, and acolytes of the ancient evil await you.

For the first time ever—a six-operator fireteam. Only those who fight shoulder to shoulder have a chance for salvation.

Will you be able to stand against new servants of Deimos and Phobos, or will you become a part of the nightmare?

We’ll find out soon!

ONSLAUGHT: SHADOWS OF FEAR

To escape the Cursed Forest and defeat Deimos and Phobos, weapons alone are not enough. You need information. Learn it and increase your chances for survival.

OBJECTIVES

There will be six rounds, each with an assigned objective to complete, where you will fight off attacks of demons trying to sabotage the operation.

Plan your actions, cover your teammates, and don’t waste your time.

ADDITIONAL TASKS

At the start of each round (except boss fights), a random modifier will activate—this is a special effect that can strengthen enemies or grant an advantage to your team.

Keep an eye on the active modifier and adjust your tactics: adequate reaction can decide the outcome of the battle.

REST PAUSE

After each round, you will have some time to catch your breath.

A short repose restores a half of max HP and returns eliminated allies to battle.

WATCH YOUR STEP

There is a small chance that eliminated enemies can drop an ammo box. Just step on it and your whole team will get 50 rounds for primary and secondary weapons.

Don't bother searching for Field Bonuses—there are none of them in the Cursed Forest.

HEALTH FOR AMMO

Ammo can be replenished from Cursed Ammo Boxes. In addition to weapon ammo, they contain ammo for your special gear and Revival Kits. However, the price for this aid is high—a part of your max HP.

If your HP drop to 30, you won’t be able to use the Cursed Ammo Boxes.

Healing Kit and Invulnerability Serum special reserves can help to remove the curse. Use them wisely.

SERVANTS

Deimos and Phobos have not only hordes of regular demons on their side.

Shadow versions of operators are fighting along with them—distorted reflections of heroes you know well. They’re fast, dangerous, and unpredictable.

This year, new enemies joined the “shadow team”: sinister versions of Vagabond, Yíngzhōu, Freyr, and Plut.

But the greatest horror is just ahead. The final battle will become a challenge that requires preparation in advance.

SPECIAL RESERVES

Even for the most skillful players, an additional support will come in handy.

The Supply Center prepared special reserves that can give an advantage during the fight with creatures of the Cursed Forest.

Use Healing Kit, Invulnerability Serum, Silver Bullets, Golden Armor, and Safety Dome to increase your chances to survive and make your battle against evil forces easier.

HOW TO OBTAIN SPECIAL RESERVES

Log into the game every day and get special reserves for the first login of the day. The new game day starts at 8 AM UTC.

Those who have active Premium will get more reserves.

Need more? Special reserves can be obtained on the event Showcase for Coins.

And if you have collected a lot of Team Reserves, you can exchange them for Silver Bullets and Golden Armor:

  • 15 Ammo box Team Reserves = 1 Silver Bullets special reserve.
  • 15 Armor plate bag Team Reserves = 1 Golden Armor special reserve.

On November 26, when the event ends, all unused reserves will be automatically converted into Credits after the event ends.

SINISTER PUMPKIN

For winning in Onslaught: Shadows of Fear mode, you will get the event currency—Sinister Pumpkins. It’s used for purchasing items in the thematic store dedicated to the Shadows of Fear event.

We will share more details about rewards and items in the store in our next article.
