On October 29, the third SEK operator will become available in Caliber—Marksman Schuss.
You can get him by completing the Dead Shot Episode of the Storm Squad Battle Pass. You will have three weeks to complete the Episode: from the release day to November 19.
You can quickly move to any section through the navigation tab on the left part of the screen.
Schuss is the SEK Marksman who bets on initiative and control. His ability marks enemies and makes them vulnerable for critical hits. Moreover, his special trait increases rate of fire when Schuss works in close cooperation with his teammates. Electric smoke projectiles are perfect for tactical sabotage and map control.
Schuss’ ability inflicts the enemy with the Vulnerable and Marked effects. While the effects are active, any gunshot from Schuss' primary weapon that hits a target on any part of their body is considered a headshot. Killing an enemy with such shots reduces ability cooldown by 50%.
His primary weapon is a DSR-1 sniper rifle equipped with a suppressor for stealth, a laser designator for close range accuracy, and a bipod for accurate shooting from covers.
Average damage parameters are compensated by fast aiming and the ability that allows using the weapon in the most effective way.
His secondary weapon is a modernized Glock 19 pistol with a collimator sight.
It is equipped with a magazine extender for faster and more reliable reloading, as well as a compensator for vertical recoil reduction. The pistol can also be equipped with an extended 19-round magazine and a laser designator for more accurate hip-firing.
GL06 special gear fires electric smoke projectiles that create a thick smokescreen that inflicts the Electrified effect upon exploding.
This is a multipurpose control tool: it can block approaches, flush the enemy out of covers, and create a window for a maneuver.
Please note that all players in the area of effect become Electrified, so use it carefully to avoid damaging your allies.
Like other SEK operators, Schuss gets bonuses for working alongside allies: his special trait increases his efficiency while he is near his teammates. Here are examples of several upgrades. The full list of upgrades can be found on the pictures below.
UPGRADE #5-1
Schuss’ rate of fire is increased by 5% for each allied operator within a 5 m radius. Maximum: 15%.
When combined with his primary weapon and special gear, the operator’s special trait makes him one of the most effective marksman on medium range.
UPGRADE #15-1
Hitting an enemy inflicted with the Vulnerable effect with the primary weapon inflicts this effect on other enemies within a 5 m radius of the target.
UPGRADE #15-2
Hitting an enemy inflicted with the Vulnerable effect with the primary weapon inflicts the Slowed effect on them and other enemies within a 5 m radius of the target.
UPGRADE #15-3
Hitting an enemy inflicted with the Vulnerable effect with the primary weapon inflicts the Electrified effect on them and other enemies within a 5 m radius of the target.
Effective reloading: while reloading, all remaining unused ammo is moved to the next partially filled magazine. Reload speed is decreased by 20/15/10% depending on skill level. Skill group: Combat tactics.
