Storm Squad Battle Pass: SEK Medic

On November 19, Kaiser’s Fury, the final episode of the Storm Squad Battle Pass, will be released in Caliber. It features Kaiser, a unique operator who is the first Medic with a shield.

To obtain him, you have to complete the Episode until December 10.

You can quickly move to any section through the navigation tab on the left part of the screen.

MEDIC KAISER

Kaiser is a Medic with an aggressive playstyle: he is able to absorb incoming damage, cover his allies, and work effectively at close range. The closer his teammates are to him, the less damage Kaiser receives. Also, his spray bottle works both ways: it can heal allies and hurt enemies.

A R.U.S.H. shield deserves to be highlighted: it can be equipped with one of three modules that define the operator’s ability.

ADAPTIVE SHIELD ABILITY

In its base form, the ability increases healing received by allies, who are affected by the ability, for 5 seconds in a 4 meter radius. This effect is constant and is not impacted by chosen modules.

However, an additional effect is determined by one of three chosen modules. You can choose modules on the operator’s upgrade screen.

ADAPTIVE SHIELD: MODULES

Please note that a module can be selected only before a battle begins. Two modules are meant for supporting teammates, the remaining one—for aggression and inflicting damage.

STAMINA MODULE

Upgrade #6-1.

The module enhances help from the ability: allies affected by the ability additionally restore 150 SP in 5 seconds and become immune to being Slowed, Crippled, and Trapped.

REVIVAL MODULE

Upgrade #6-2.

The module allows for reviving the closest teammate in the ability’s area of effect without having to use a revival kit. Revival duration is 7 seconds.

ELECTRIFIED MODULE

Upgrade #6-3.

The module transforms the ability into an attacking one: the operator inflicts the Electrified effect, damaging enemies by 20 HP per second during 5 seconds.

EQUIPMENT

Kaiser’s primary weapon is a modernized B&T MP9 submachine gun. It is equipped with a unique stock that makes aiming easier for operators wearing helmets with visors, an extended magazine with subsonic ammo, a laser designator for accurate shooting at close range, and an improved grip.

A tested solution for close-quarters combat: high rate of fire and perfect mobility. While using MP9, the R.U.S.H shield cannot be used.

The secondary weapon is a modernized Glock 19 with a collimator sight and module upgrades. Marksman Schuss uses the same pistol.

The pistol can be used together with the R.U.S.H shield: while hip-firing, it has significant spread, so using it at close range is more effective. While aiming, the shield goes down, exposing the upper part of Kaiser’s body.

SPRAY BOTTLE SPECIAL GEAR

This special gear sprays a gas that heals Kaiser and his allies, and also damages enemies in its area of effect.

Holding down the activation key of the Adaptive Shield ability restores one charge of the special gear.

UPGRADES

Kaiser’s upgrades include both development of the operator (movement speed increase, special trait bonus, received damage decrease, etc.) and modifications of his equipment.

Extra attention was given towards the R.U.S.H shield modules and the spray bottle.

PERSONAL SKILL

Improved revival: the skill allows for reviving allies by using their revival kits when you have run out of your own kits. The process goes faster, and received damage does not interrupt it. Revival speed: +10/15/20%.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is the XP required for Episode progression awarded?

The gauge is filled with XP equal to base XP granted for participating in battles. After buying an Episode, you'll earn +10% of that Episode's XP while playing it. Active Premium increases Battle Pass XP gained by 30%.

So, if you earn 1000 basic XP (base XP gained after the battle without Premium and other boosters applied), your Battle Pass XP gauge will also be filled by 1000 points.
Why do I need more XP to complete this Episode?

Previously, all Episodes were available simultaneously, and players had to make an effort to complete them all in time. Now, Episodes are released one after another: each one lasts three weeks which gives you more time to complete it.
Can levels be bought?

Yes. You can buy the required amount of levels. This can be done by opening a Battle Pass Episode window in the game client and clicking on the level gauge. A Purchase Level button will appear to the right of the artwork depicting the rewards’ content.

The price of levels is proportional to the amount of XP needed for the next level. Exchange rate: 1 Coin for 10 Battle Pass XP.

That means that you can buy a level even if you have already gained some XP towards the next level.
What will happen if I complete the free section of the Episode, then buy the paid one?

All the rewards for the paid section of the Episode will be added to your account automatically. You won’t have to play through the Episode again.
I’ve bought an Episode on the website, but haven’t gotten XP for the Battle Pass. What should I do?

Episodes of Storm Squad Battle Pass are sold without XP.

Purchasing it only grants an access to the paid part of the Episode—you still need to earn XP by playing the game.
When will the SEK operators become available for purchasing after the Episode ends?

The SEK operators can become available for purchasing on the website shortly after the Episode or the entire Battle Pass end. Later, they will become available in the game client for Coins, but the time margins haven’t been finalized yet.

Currently, Assault Faust, Support Eisen, and Marksman Schuss can be purchased on the website.
I open Battle Pass Containers but I don’t receive items for Kaiser. Why?

All new customization items for Kaiser will automatically become available after reaching Episode level 100. They can’t be obtained from containers.
