Cosplay Contest: Doppelgänger and Masquerade Return!

Attention, soldiers!

We couldn’t have left you without a traditional event that precedes Caliber’s Birthday, which will take place on December 11, so we’re announcing long-awaited Doppelgänger and Masquerade cosplay contests.

According to the existing tradition, anyone—from rookies to professionals—can take part in the contests. Choose your category:

  • Doppelgänger: contestants must show extra attention to detail and scrupulousness of true professionals.
  • Masquerade: contestants are free to use their imagination and the most unexpected materials.
The contests will take place from November 18 to December 21. The results will be published within 7 work days after the submission end date. 

DOPPELGÄNGER CONTEST

Here, the most important thing is your aspiration towards maximum authenticity. Use real equipment: for example, airsoft gear or something that looks and functions in the same way. Some elements can be replaced, though they cannot stand out and have to look natural in the outfit’s visual style.

REWARDS

  • 1st place: 15,000 Coins, the Art Emblem, 2 Elite Weapon Containers, and commemoration of your nickname on a chosen map.
  • 2nd place: 12,500 Coins, the Art Emblem, 2 Elite Weapon Containers.
  • 3rd place: 10,000 Coins, the Art Emblem, 2 Elite Weapon Containers.
  • 4th place: 7,500 Coins, the Art Emblem, 1 Elite Weapon Container.
  • 5th place: 5,000 Coins, the Art Emblem, 1 Elite Weapon Container.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTEST ENTRY

  • Choose any Caliber character.
  • Recreate that character using combat equipment or weaponry, such as airsoft equipment.
  • Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
  • Email your photo to contest@1cgs.net, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

MASQUERADE CONTEST

Don’t be fooled: this “silly” category can surprise you. The main thing here is creativity, not seriousness: create an outfit from any available materials.

A bucket? May come in handy. Plastic bottles? Good. Duct tape? Super! All these things (and not only them) that look boring in your everyday life can become really useful here.

Robot cosplay is allowed and very much welcomed!

REWARDS

  • 1st place: 15,000 Coins, the Art Emblem, commemoration of your nickname on a chosen map, and 2 Elite Weapon Containers.
  • 2nd place: 12,500 Coins, the Art Emblem, 2 Elite Weapon Containers.

  • Recreate them using common household items and/or clothes, without utilizing any authentic combat equipment or weaponry.
  • Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
  • Email your photo to contest@1cgs.net, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

CONTEST ENTRY GUIDELINES

  1. Participants may submit only their own work.
  2. Participants may not submit entries which have already been used in previous competitions.
  3. One participant may submit a single entry for each Contest. One participant may submit two entries in total, if they are participating in both Contests.
  4. Entries must be created specifically for these Contests.
  5. Entries must abide by the Rules of Conduct and not violate any moral, ethical, or legal provisions.
  6. By participating in the Contest, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to its terms and conditions.
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to make any and all decisions on all matters related to the Contest at their own discretion.
  8. The winning photos and videos may be published on the Organizer's official website and social media platforms at the Organizer's discretion.
  9. The use of photo editing software or AI systems of any type for editing of the entry or other attempts to add more value to the entry are forbidden.
  10. Participants are allowed to use software to apply color correction.

EVALUATION OF ENTRIES

Each entry is evaluated by members of the jury (developers) according to the specific predetermined criteria.

Each criterion is evaluated on a scale from 1 to 5 points. The total score of the entry will be the sum of jury members’ total scores.

JUDGING CRITERIA

  • Similarity to the character.
  • The overall quality of the entry.
  • The level of detail in the outfit.
  • The originality of the materials used.

By participating in the Contest you agree to adhere to the Contest Rules (the Masquerade | the Doppelgänger), the Privacy Policy and the Rules of Conduct. Please familiarize yourself with them before sending any entries. By sending photos, you consent to the transfer of exclusive rights for your works to FOR-GAMES CR LTD.
