Update 1.3.0: patch note

1.3.0 update is available. It's time to celebrate Caliber's Birthday and New Year right in the game!

There are the Scourge of Favelas Battle Pass with the first Legendary Outfits for BOPE operators, the Gift Hunt event, updated Reward Log, and lots of other improvements.

General changes

CONTENT AND EVENTS:

  • Added the Scourge of Favelas Battle Pass with the Anhanga Legendary Outfits for the BOPE collection.
  • Gift Hunt event with a thematic game mode started.
  • Back into the Fray event started.
  • Reward Log items updated.
  • In honor of Caliber's Birthday, the Blizzard Epic Outfit for Medic Kaval was added to the New Year Showcase. It can be purchased for 500,000 Credits until January 21.
  • On December 10, 4 PM UTC, Operation: Snowflake, a Twitch Drops campaign, will be launched.

AS GOOD AS GOLD EMBLEM

According to our annual tradition, all players who have made a significant impact on development and support of Caliber will receive a festive Good as Gold Emblem.

FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS:

  • User Battles, tournament modes: number of operator bans increased to 6.
  • Now, in all game modes except Ranked, after you’ve picked your operator, you can start setting them up without having to wait for other players.
  • Team Deathmatch mode is now available from account level 3.
  • Special Operation mode is now available from account level 16.
  • Statistics, Team Deathmatch and Showdown 8×8 modes: fixed a bug that prevented the battles that were played before their game modes had been added to statistics from showing there. Also, operator statistics in these modes were fixed.
  • Notifications: fixed a bug that caused notifications about finished battles to display incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the surrender voting window to be covered by allied operators’ portraits.
  • Fixed a bug that caused text to overlap when rounds were changing.
  • Training, Medic: fixed a bug that caused bots to spawn indefinitely.
  • Customization: fixed a bug that caused the icon of a chosen Camo to display incorrectly.
  • Replays, Onslaught mode: fixed a bug that prevented round objectives and their timers from displaying.
  • User Battles: fixed a bug that prevented the “Back to the room” button from disappearing when UI was disabled by pressing [O] button on the operator customization window.
  • Battle results window [TAB]: fixed a bug that prevented the lowest number of deaths from being highlighted in yellow.
  • Battle Pass episode selection window: fixed an incorrect timer.
  • An area of marking players and objects by pressing [C] button was increased: marking of important targets became more convenient.
  • Added a voice chat setting selection window which opens for new players after completing Prologue.
  • Replays: added an option to switch between teams by pressing the Space bar.
  • Battle preparation stage: fixed a bug that caused unavailable Camos to display.
  • Reward Log: fixed a bug that caused buttons to flicker when a reward was received.
  • Hints: fixed a number of typos in the hints that are displayed when battles load.
  • User Battles: fixed a bug that caused HQ Backgrounds to display incorrectly.
  • “Always display the HP bar above allied players” setting: fixed a bug that prevented an ally’s Armor from displaying under the Shielded effect bar.
  • Ranked Battles, leaderboards: fixed a bug that prevented players from appearing on the list when they lacked the rating points needed to enter the leaderboards. 
  • Settings: fixed a bug that caused a subtitle enabling/disabling button not to be set by default.
  • Replays: fixed a bug that caused round/battle results to display incorrectly.
  • Hint window [F1]: a number of revival kits that a teammate has is now displayed always.
  • Scopes: lens effect added.
  • Added an intro video, as well as a number of videos about game modes (these videos will be played when access to these modes is granted).
  • Fixed a bug that caused some attached items to drop when an object moved. For example, it affected the “smoke shot” of Assault Volk.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Battle button to become unavailable when battle search was initiated in a previously chosen game mode.
  • Taurus Raging Hunter secondary weapon: fixed an incorrect cylinder position.
  • Battle Statistics screen: fixed an incorrect icon display.

General changes:

  • Sixth Sense skill: fixed a bug that caused the skill to work incorrectly. It didn’t increase movement speed and grant immunity to the Slowed effect.
  • R&R skill: fixed a bug that caused incorrect effect icons to display while the skill was active.
  • Guardian of Efforts skill: fixed a bug that didn’t increase dealt damage.

  • Fixed a bug that caused all items that can be thrown or deployed to disappear from the map after an operator’s respawn.
  • Fixed flickering APC shadows.

  • All modes: fixed a bug that caused floor textures to flicker in the main hall.
  • Special Operation mode: fixed a bug that prevented bots from moving from their initial positions.

  • Team Deathmatch mode: fixed a bug that made some covers to be above the ground level.
Sound
  • Musical Emotes: now they play a Christmas melody during the Gift Hunt event.
  • Gift Hunt mode: voice-over for the English announcer added.
