“When will the Turkish operators be available for Credits?!”
This is one of our most popular social media questions—and behind it lies a broader topic: what happens to operators, outfits, weapons, and other content after their first release? Can they come back, and if so, under what conditions?
A few years ago, we talked about our exclusivity rules. Since then, Caliber has changed, and so has our approach to distributing new content.
Today, we’ll walk you through how exclusivity works now, why new content shouldn’t lose its value quickly, and what to expect if you missed a Battle Pass or event.
Exclusive content appears in Battle Passes, events, or bundles on the website store and is available for a limited time. Once the activity ends or the bundle is removed from the website, it’s no longer obtainable—until it comes back.
This can include operators, outfits, weapons, and various thematic items—such as Halloween-themed Emotes.
Can exclusive content become available again? Yes.
The main Battle Pass reward may appear on the website store relatively soon after—but sold separately, without the many other items you could have earned by completing the Battle Pass. As for becoming the reward of a new event, that can only happen after a significant amount of time has passed.
Here’s why.
Let’s get straight to the point: if you invested money, time, and effort to complete a Battle Pass and earn a reward, that reward shouldn’t lose its value a few months later. This is the conclusion we reached after seeing our old exclusivity system in action.
Imagine: you bought a Battle Pass, completed it in full, and received an operator. Then, a few months later, that same operator became available for 200,000 Credits—no Battle Pass purchase or completion required.
Not the greatest scenario, right?
In a situation like that, it’s hard not to feel like you could have just waited. The purchase loses its value, and the time you spent completing the Battle Pass feels wasted.
We believe our current approach is fairer to the players who obtained new content at launch—both those who bought it and those who earned the required currency by participating in events, collecting Reward Log rewards, and hunting for promo codes on social media.
This applies to PÖH and SEK operators as well: we don’t plan to add them to permanent Credits sales. Currently, they’re available in bundles on the website store, and PÖH operators can also be obtained in the A Place in the Sun Marathon.
Yes, some content may return.
Caliber is constantly gaining new players—they simply didn’t have the opportunity to obtain past rewards when they were first released. And some long-time players missed a Battle Pass or event for various reasons. That’s why some past content may become available again over time.
For example, after a Battle Pass or event ends, exclusive content may:
But these are just possible scenarios, not a guaranteed sequence. Some content may appear on the website store, some may become an event reward, and some may appear in the Showcase. The method and timing of each reappearance are determined on a case-by-case basis.
This way, we balance the interests of different types of players: some past content may come back, but for those who obtained it first, it retains its value for longer.
Say you liked a Battle Pass or event reward. Should you get it now, or wait—in case it shows up later for Coins, Credits, or on the website store?
If you really want the reward, the most reliable approach is to get it during its first release. It may become available again later, but at a different time, through a different method, and under different conditions.
Besides, during the first release, you typically get more than just the main reward. While completing a Battle Pass, you receive plenty of other items alongside the operator, outfit, or weapon. The same goes for events: they too offer a lot of valuable rewards beyond the main one.
So the first release is not only the most predictable, but usually also the most rewarding way to obtain what you want.
