From July 15 to August 12, Caliber will host the "A Place in the Sun" Marathon.
Participate in the event, earn Tokens, and compete for places on the leaderboards.
The main rewards are the new Fixer Legendary Outfit for Marksman Strelok from the Vympel collection, operators from the PÖH collection, and unique emblems.
In this article, we'll explain how the marathon works and what rewards you can earn.
The "A Place in the Sun" marathon is an event where you can earn Rating Points, receive rewards for leaderboard placement, and buy items in the Event Armory.

The "A Place in the Sun" Marathon will be divided into three stages. Each stage consists of two phases: the main phase, where players compete for leaderboard placement, and the wrap-up phase.
From Wednesday to Sunday, players earn Rating Points and compete for places on the leaderboards. Monday and Tuesday are wrap-up days: players no longer earn points, and stage results are finalized.
The Marathon has two leaderboards: the Daily Rating and the Total Rating.
The Daily Rating leaderboard features the top performers of the day. It runs for 24 hours: from 8 AM UTC till 8 AM UTC the following day.
The top 15,000 players on the final Daily Rating leaderboard receive rewards. The higher your place, the more Marathon Tokens you will receive.
If your final rank on the Daily Rating leaderboard makes you eligible for rewards, simply log into the game the day after the wrap-up. The reward will be automatically sent to your account. If you do not log in before the next game day ends, you will no longer be able to receive this reward.
The Total Rating leaderboard offers two types of rewards:
This reward depends on your final rank on the Total Rating leaderboard. Only the top 1000 players will be eligible for rewards.
Rewards stack. The higher your final rank, the more rewards you will receive. For example, a player in the top 100 will receive rewards for the top 100 and the top 1000, while the player in first place will receive all available rewards.
This type of reward depends on the number of Rating Points earned during a marathon stage.
Rating Point rewards are issued immediately upon reaching the target score. The more points you earn, the more rewards you will receive for the stage.
If you are one of the top 1000 players on the Total Rating leaderboard at the end of a stage, be sure to log into the game during the wrap-up days. Once you log in, your placement rewards will be automatically sent to your account. If you do not log in before the start of the next stage, you will no longer be able to claim them.
The most active and effective marathon participants will receive a special emblem of distinction. This is a reward for players who consistently earn tokens and perform well throughout the event.
The emblem is progressive—it can be upgraded twice. Progression depends on the total number of tokens earned during the marathon. You can use your tokens freely; spending them will not affect the emblem's upgrade.
How the emblem is upgraded:
The "A Place in the Sun" Emblem is awarded to the top 1000 players on the Total Rating leaderboard. This is a reward for players who have held their own in the competition and secured a spot among the overall leaders.
The emblem's quality depends on how many times you place in the top 1000 during the marathon. The emblem is issued during the wrap-up days—after the leaderboard positions are finalized.
The order of the stages does not matter—only the number of times you place in the top 1000 is taken into account. To receive the Legendary version of the emblem, you must be one of the top 1000 players on the Total Rating leaderboard in all three marathon stages.
Depending on the mode, you can earn Rating Points for achieving victories, winning rounds, completing mission stages, and earning points during the event. See the table below for the full list of modes and earning conditions.
Additionally, you will be able to earn Rating Points in the Weekend Mode category. This category awards more Rating Points, and the specified mode changes every week.
Modes in this category will be of higher difficulty: the Fog of War and friendly fire are enabled, and you can only play in first-person view.
As a reminder, the Weekend Mode category is available for a limited time: from 8 AM Friday to 8 AM Monday UTC.
The Marathon Armory is the event store where you can use tokens to purchase thematic "A Place in the Sun" Containers, which are available for the duration of the marathon.
These containers include the new Fixer Legendary Outfit for Strelok, operators from the PÖH collection, Epic Outfits, the Videnskaben HQ background, camouflages, emotes, emblems, and credits.
The Fixer Legendary Outfit features a bold urban style. A key detail is the brass knuckles weapon charm: it completes the look and is especially noticeable when moving in first-person view.
Containers offer extra protection and is guaranteed to contain the main rewards.
The Fixer Legendary Outfit and PÖH collection operators can drop whenever a container is opened. Upon opening your 100th container, you are guaranteed to receive the Fixer outfit, and from your 150th, a random PÖH collection operator, if you haven’t received these already.
Besides the Marathon Armory, you can also spend your Event Tokens in the Store Showcase.
During the event, you will be able to buy Weapon Containers for 5,000 tokens each.
