Caliber Anniversary Creative Contests: rules and prizes

Hello, everyone!

To celebrate Caliber’s birthday, we are announcing THREE creative contests. Each will have five prizes and plenty of opportunity to show off your creative side!

  1. The Masquerade is about creating a cosplay out of common household items.
  2. The Doppelgänger is about creating a cosplay using professional equipment.
  3. The Master of Editing is about creating a great video.

The top 5 participants of each Contest will be rewarded with Coins and glory. Come first, and your nickname will be immortalized on the new Caliber map!

Dates: from September 25 to October 25. The results will be published within 14 days after the submission end date.

THE MASQUERADE CONTEST

The most accessible and familiar to the majority of players.

Choose any Caliber character, be they an operator or a bot, or even the Buddy drone (who knows?), and create a cosplay based on them using common household items.

A wooden plank could become Bastion’s shield, a red sports jacket part of Max’s ‘Snappy’ Outfit, or even a plain medical face mask part of a Bones cosplay.

Use everything you have at your disposal. The most important part is to match your chosen character as closely as possible. The only limit is your imagination.

PRIZES

  1. 1st place — 15,000 Coins and commemoration of your nickname on the new map
  2. 2nd place — 12,500 Coins
  3. 3rd place — 10,000 Coins
  4. 4th place — 7,500 Coins
  5. 5th place — 5,000 Coins

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTEST ENTRY

  • Choose any Caliber character.
  • Recreate them using common household items and/or clothes, without utilizing any authentic combat equipment or weaponry.
  • Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
  • Email your photo to contest@playcaliber.com, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

THE DOPPELGÄNGER CONTEST

This contest is much more challenging. You will have to use realistic combat equipment to create your cosplay — such as airsoft weapons. Fake props are allowed, but only if they are used in your character Outfit of choice.

This task is harder, which means the rewards will be better.

PRIZES

  1. 1st place — 25,000 Coins and commemoration of your nickname on the new map
  2. 2nd place — 22,500 Coins
  3. 3rd place — 20,000 Coins
  4. 4th place — 17,500 Coins
  5. 5th place — 15,000 Coins

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTEST ENTRY

  • Choose any Caliber character.
  • Recreate that character using realistic combat equipment or weaponry, such as airsoft equipment.
  • Take a photo of yourself in your completed cosplay.
  • Email your photo and in-game nickname to contest@playcaliber.com, and don’t forget to specify the contest name and your in-game nickname.

THE MASTER OF EDITING CONTEST

Do you like standing behind the camera more than in front of it?

Create a video about Caliber and upload it to Youtube, or any other video hosting website. Use in-game footage. You may add any other footage — such as memes — as long as it does not violate the contest rules or third-party rights.

What can you film in-game? Your best plays, your funniest moments, or anything else that you find interesting.

The main restriction: the video must be no longer than 60 seconds.
