The Rough 90’s Battle Pass Manual

Hello, everyone!

With the release of update 0.23.2, a new Battle Pass will be added to Caliber, featuring Legendary Outfits for the Vympel Collection as the main episode rewards. This episode will be wholly dedicated to the vibes of the 90’s.

It will take less XP than last time to complete the episodes, and it will now also be possible to purchase all the new content on the official website straight away.

We’ll tell you all about the events and show you the rewards in this article.

A Battle Pass is an in-game event comprised of four episodes, each with 30 levels. Players get a reward for each level they reach. To raise their level, players will need to gain XP in battles.

The event will last for seven weeks: from June 19, 2024 until August 7, 2024 (8:00 AM UTC).

EPISODES

The Battle Pass is divided into four episodes: Feeding fangs, Diamond in the rough, He who avoids death, and He who hits the target. Each episode corresponds to a class: Assault, Medic, Support, and Marksman, respectively.

Your rewards depend on which episode you play. You can change the active episode at any time and complete them in any order.

EPISODES: PARTS AND PRICES

Each episode is divided into two parts: free and paid.

We want all players to participate in the event and get their rewards, even if some players decide not to buy the episodes.

This time, all the new Emotes, Executions, and Camos are available in the free part as well.

The price of one episode is 3,000 Coins. A discount is applied when purchasing multiple episodes together.
  • Two episodes can be bought together at a 5% discount. This will cost 5,700 Coins.
  • Two episodes can be bought together at a 10% discount. This will cost 8,100 Coins.
  • Two episodes can be bought together at a 20% discount. This will cost 9,600 Coins.

As part of the rewards that we’ve added to both the free and paid versions, you will get 2,400 Coins back after completing all episodes.

Each Rough 90’s Battle Pass episode is comprised of 30 levels. 140,000 XP is needed to complete one Episode. Active Premium increases Battle Pass XP gained by 30%.

EVERYTHING AT ONCE

A Battle Pass is a big event where you have to earn a lot of XP over the course of several weeks. A real challenge.

By studying your feedback, we’ve learned that there are a lot of players who’d like to buy the Battle Pass items after it ends. We’ve decided to take them into consideration. From now on, we’ll make the special Battle Pass sets available for purchase on our official site.

If you don’t have a lot of free time, or otherwise can’t complete all the episodes in time, then this new offer is for you.

And don’t forget that you can purchase Battle Pass levels for Coins while the Battle Pass is still active. The exchange rate is 1 Coin to 8 XP.

The Rough 90’s Battle Pass sets will appear on the site on June 19. We’ll notify you on our social networks then.

HOW TO GAIN BATTLE PASS XP

Simply play the game in any mode that yields a post-battle reward. Battle Pass rewards will be added to your account automatically.

REWARDS: PAID SECTION

LEGENDARY OUTFITS

The Vega Legendary Outfits for the Vympel collection: Assault Volk, Support Almaz, Medic Ded, and Marksman Strelok.

EPIC OUTFITS

The Typhoon Epic Outfit for Support Barreira and the Surgeon Epic Outfit for Medic Schatz.

Each of the Epic Outfits are split into two parts and put into specific Episodes. To earn an Epic Outfit, simply purchase both of the Episodes containing its parts. You won’t have to earn any XP to unlock it.

  • The parts of the Surgeon outfit are obtained in the following Episodes: Feeding Fangs (Assault) and He who avoids death (Medic).
  • The parts of the Typhoon outfit are obtained in the following Episodes: Diamond in the rough (Support) and He who hits the target (Marksman).

If you obtain only one part of an Epic Outfit, it will automatically be converted into 450 Fragments after the event ends.

CONTAINERS

Each Episode awards different Containers. Some of them contain previously released customization items, and some contain brand-new ones.

Containers are duplicate-proof: you will only gain items for operators who don’t have them yet.

Depending on the Episode, Containers will provide items that correspond to a particular operator class. For example, Containers obtained from the Feeding Fangs Episode will grant items for Assaults.

The only exceptions to this rule are the Camo Containers.

What Containers can be obtained:

  • A Container with the Gut punch Execution for a corresponding class of operators.
  • A Container with the Boombox Emote for a corresponding class of operators.
  • A Container with the Let me call the boys Emote for a corresponding class of operators.
  • Containers with Camos for a random operator collection: Tel’nyashka, Olympiika, Coziness, and Newspaper. Two slots.
  • Containers with random Emotes, Executions, and Camos of up to Rare quality for random operators of corresponding classes. Three slots.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is XP required for Episode progression awarded?

The gauge is filled with XP equal to the basic XP granted for participating in battles. If you have active Premium, you’ll get an additional +30% XP bonus for your Battle Pass XP gauge.

So, if you earn 1000 base XP (gained after a battle without Premium or other boosters applied), your Battle Pass XP gauge will also fill by 1000 points. However, if you have active Premium, you will earn 1300 Battle Pass XP for the same battle.
Can levels be bought?

Yes, you can buy the required number of levels. This can be done by opening the Battle Pass Episode window in the game client and clicking on the level gauge. A Purchase Level button will appear to the right of the artwork depicting the rewards.

The price of a level is proportional to the amount of XP it requires. The exchange rate is 1 Coin for 8 Battle Pass XP.

This means that you can buy a level even if you have already gained some XP towards it.
What is the exclusivity period for the new Battle Pass items?

The new items will be available for purchase on our official site both while the Battle Pass is active, and after the active period ends.

The items will be made available in the game client just six months later—in accordance with the exclusivity period.
What happens if I complete the free section of an Episode, then buy the paid section?

All the rewards for the paid section of the Episode will be added to your account automatically. You won’t have to play through the Episode again.
