Update 0.20.1 already available!

The Single Strike Common Cause event begins; Grain, Vignette and Color Correction have been added in graphics settings; added an ability to join a game and invite friends through Steam; added an option to change your appearance during the operator selection phase before combat; modified the operator selection screen when first entering a game; added purple backgrounds for the operators using epic outfits on the operator selection screen; and more.

General changes

  • The Storm mode is active.
  • Changed the behavior of Decals, Local reflections and Volumetric lighting options: their performance impact has been reduced.
  • Improved performance when playing at 4K resolution.
  • Grain, Vignette and Color Correction options have been added to the graphics settings.
  • Ranked Battles Mode: Fixed a visual bug that caused Infiltration area borders to be visible in the intro cutscene.
  • Fixed a visual bug that prevented smoke effects from appearing in the Zap Execution animation in the operator settings menu.
  • Improved lighting in the final cutscene of the Prologue.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the visuals of negative effects to linger on dead bots.
  • Updated the map selection algorithm to reduce the chances of playing the same maps repeatedly.
  • Fixed a visual bug with the Nailed It execution animation that caused the knife to appear in the operator’s hand too early, and not be exactly in their hand during the execution itself.
  • Fixed a bug that caused corpses of eliminated enemies to jump up in the air after using Sapper’s Greeting and Slavic Farewell executions.
  • Fixed a bug that would sometimes prevent a 20 Rank Point penalty from being applied when leaving the game in Ranked Battles Mode.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the chosen view and sort modes in the operator selection screen from being saved, forcing players re-set them every time.
  • Modified the rules of compensation in Fragments for customization items: the number of Fragments now depends on the rarity of the items.
  • Fixed a series of issues that prevented players from receiving Steam achievements.
  • Added a purple background for the portraits of operators using epic outfits.
  • Added an option to invite players to the fireteam and to join a fireteam using the Steam friends list, as well as the "In battle" status and grouping of players by this status in the Steam friends list if the players are in the same fireteam.
  • Updated the role selection algorithm when joining a battle with several roles selected: previously the role used in the previous match was prioritized; now the new role will be picked randomly from the selected ones.
  • Fixed animation errors in various cutscenes that would cause operators to randomly look around.

  • Fixed incorrect colors in the "Aegis" ability description when using upgrades #4-1 and #4-2: positive changes will now be displayed in green and negative ones will be displayed in red instead of being reversed.

  • Fixed incorrect interaction between the "Readiness" and "Counterattack" skills that would prevent the damage increase effects from being combined when the requirements to activate both skills were met.
  • Fixed typos in the descriptions of the "Slight of Hand" and "Subdermal Morphine" skills.
  • Fixed incorrect behavior of the "Thermographic Sight" skill that would prevent the outlines of enemies covered by smoke from being highlighted if they were more than 30 m away.
  • Updated the description of the "Regenerative Materials" skill: "Level 1 can only restore the first armor segment; level 2 can restore the second one (if the first one is not damaged); level 3 restores all segments that aren’t completely destroyed."

"Frugality" skill:

  • Fixed bugs that would prevent the skill from interacting with the "Trap Mine" special gear (used by TFB Medic Watson) and the "AG36″ special gear (used by EZAPAC Assault Faro).
  • Showdown, Annihilation and Ranked Battles Modes: Fixed a bug that would prevent the skill from replenishing mines in a new round if the operator was eliminated while the skill was active.
Interface
  • Added the display of extra XP gained to post-battle statistics.
  • Fixed a visual bug that prevented the weapons’ names and icons from changing while selecting an outfit during the operator preparation phase.
  • Fixed a bug that caused pop-up messages to appear only after gaining an account level.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the ability icon to disappear if the player left a match while incapacitated, then reentered and was revived by an ally.
  • Frontline Mode: Fixed a bug that caused the team base button to freeze after relaying the special intel.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the heavy fighter elimination message to pop up when winning via the execution of the officer bot.
  • Enemy level is now hidden on the status screen while incapacitated.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the team capitulation message to disappear too quickly.
  • Point Sweep and Special Operation Modes, Forest map: Fixed a bug that caused the English subtitles for some phrases to disappear too quickly.
  • Fixed several bugs pertaining to the color highlighting of some phrases in the Tutorial window.
  • Fixed a bug that caused additional vertical white bars to appear on the operator selection screen.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Ready button during the operator selection screen to be inactive unless an operator is picked, even if an operator has been picked before in the HQ window.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a "Connection interrupted" error message to appear if one of the picked players couldn’t join the game. The correct "Player has left the game" message is displayed now.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an active Premium icon to be displayed incorrectly on the operator selection screen before the battle.
  • The player search algorithm in the Contacts window has been changed to non-case-sensitive.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an operator to float in the air when the HQ Background "Post-Soviet Era" has been picked in the HQ Appearance tab.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented tank wheels’ textures from displaying correctly on the "The Weapon of Victory" HQ Background while Texture Quality was set to Low.
  • Added the amount of pellets in the "Damage/Headshot damage" parameter for all shotguns.
  • Fixed the reflections in operators’ glasses for the "Headquarters" HQ Background.
  • Typos fixed in some of the Tutorial windows.
  • Added definitions of Extra XP, Coins and Credits while hovering over the corresponding icons in the HQ window.
  • Frontline and Annihilation Modes: Fixed several visual loading screen bugs.
  • Fixed a bug that caused several elements on the Emotes tab in the Tutorial window to be interactable.
  • Deleted an additional "You can load and delete textures in the launcher" in the "Texture Quality" parameter of the Steam version graphics options.
  • Fixed the incorrect cases in the Weekly objectives descriptions.
  • Fixed several bugs in the "Team Roles: Medic" and the "Team Roles: Sniper" video that had discrepancies between the English voiceover and English subtitles.
  • Fixed a bug that caused operators to stand in the wrong pose on the operator preparations screen.
  • Fixed several bugs pertaining to the incorrect display of the "As Good as Gold" emblem on the operator selection screen and the Contacts window.
  • Added new functionality for the launcher version of the game: it is now possible to enter any symbols at the game entry screen.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the top part of the Tutorial Mode icon in the Battle Mode window to be inactive.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a Work in Progress icon to appear at the top right corner of the eliminations screen when an operator wearing an Epic Outfit or a Legendary Outfit was eliminated by a grenadier, marksman or support bot with explosive special gear.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the wrong tabs of the Tutorial window to open when pressing the [?] icons in the Objectives tab.
  • Removed the flags from the language select options in the game entry screen.

PROLOGUE

  • Fixed a bug that prevented allied operators from taking cover during shootouts in the Prologue.
  • Fixed an animation bug allowing allied hostage bots to stand up before killing the last enemy.
  • Added minor fixes to players’ nav mesh.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an invisible wall to appear above the gates at the start of the Prologue that displayed the hard surface shooting particle effects when shot.

  • Fixed a bug in Replay that caused the player to go out of bounds while in free camera Mode.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the mission marker and direction arrow from disappearing if the player entered the basement before destroying the enemies there.
  • Fixed a bug where a light source positioned behind a door that needs to be kicked open during the mission would disappear after kicking the door open.

Prologue Mode: Medic.

  • Fixed a bug where a Support would say "I’m feeling much better" when the player threw an M18 smoke grenade at them.

CARAVANSERAI

PvE version

Special Operation Mode:

  • Changed the position of the sergeant bot which now takes a safer position behind cover.
  • Added a sergeant bot to the Watchtower Defense mission.

Point Sweep and Special Operation Modes:

  • Interrogating a sergeant bot now opens up the way to the second floor.
  • Increased the amount of time for bots to capture the laptop.
  • Increased the amount of possible bot spawn point during the laptops capture mission.
  • It is now impossible to pick up a laptop before eliminating all bots.
  • Increased the amount of enemies during the Watchtower Point Sweep mission.
  • Increased the amount of enemy waves from 2 to 3 during the Watchtower Point Sweep mission.
  • Fixed an animation bug that caused the Operator to abruptly cut to the default pose after interrogating a sergeant bot.

  • Onslaught Mode: Fixed a bug that caused a duplicate model of a chemical light source to appear on the map.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the player from climbing up on one of the waste bins.

  • Ranked Battles Mode: Fixed a bug that allowed the player to pass the infiltration area before finishing the preparations phase.

  • Point Sweep and Special Operation Modes: Fixed a bug that prevented the voice alert from triggering after marking an informant bot with the [C] key.

  • Showdown Mode: Fixed a bug that allowed the player to drop below the map at one position.
  • Ranked Battles Mode: Fixed a bug that prevented the deactivation of the hacking device if installed under the tires in the corner of installation zone A.

  • Special Operation Mode: Fixed a bug that muted the planes’ sound effects during the mortar towers aerial bombing mission.
  • Point Sweep and Special Operation Modes: fixed a bug that allowed the player to get inside one of the mission-related objects.

  • Fixed a bug that caused an operator to get partially stuck in the cargo truck while trying to jump over one of the covers.
  • Fixed a bug that caused operators to be displayed incorrectly during the final cut scene.

Frontline Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that going out of the playing zone’s bounds while climbing over particular covers.
  • Fixed several bugs that allowed getting inside different objects while jumping off a train in certain positions.

  • Al-Rabad is available again in Ranked Battles Mode.

CROSSING

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from jumping off some of the log pillars.
Sound
  • Prologue Mode: Fixed a bug that prevented the bombing sound effect from playing during the "Eastern squad has been ambushed" message with bombing effects being visible.
  • Ranked Battles Mode: Fixed a bug that caused the round countdown sound effect to play indefinitely during match replay if the recording had been fast-forwarded right before the countdown ended.
