Update 0.17.2: patch note

Update 0.17.2 introduces Total Superiority marathon, new PvP mode Annihilation, and notable changes to Caravanserai map. And, naturally, a number of bugs was fixed in it.

General Changes

  • Added Annihilation PvP mode;
  • Total Superiority Marathon has begun;
  • Added Troublemaker Epic Outfit for Avant-garde the Assault;
  • Added Executions: Rest in peace and Eat dirt!;
  • Added Evening Glow Camo.
  • Added Emblems: Annihilator, Anarchist, Vandal, Smog, Guardian, and Minus one.
  • Added Emotes: Robot, Jam, and Come get some!;
  • Added Caravanserai HQ background.
  • Disabled Battle Pass Gallery. Participant/Triumphant Emblems will be given to Battle Pass owners within a few days;
  • Onslaught: Fighter mode disabled;
  • Added the ability to skip the starting PvE cutscene through voting. To do this, all players must vote for.

Operators

Alpha

Marksman Sokol
  • Fixed the bug due to which the bipod and magazine could disappear from the model of the main weapon.

RAID

Support Bastion
  • Fixed the bug due to which blood could be displayed when a shield is hit.
Medic Velour
  • Mercenary Legendary Outfit: fixed the situation in which the voice line of the operator was not played where they reported on the use of the main ability Patch.

EZAPAC

Marksman Diablo
  • G36 ZN primary weapon: shot sound has been replaced with a new one.

Arystan

Support Tibet
  • Fixed the bug due to which blood could be displayed when a shield is hit.

Maps, missions, and bots changes

Onslaught

  • All maps. Fixed the issue where Field Bonus could not be applied while Emotes are playing.

Showdown, Hacking

  • Assault Shàowèi: fixed known map areas that Xigou Robot-Companion could pass through.

Prologue

  • New lighting on the Prologue map;
  • Assault, Medic: fixed the issue where the hostage bot would not move towards the ambulance;
  • Marksman, Support: fixed the bug in the display of traces from exploded mines;
  • Medic: fixed the bug due to which the Support bot couldn’t hit the car;
  • Support: removed the undestroyable explosive canister from the map;
  • Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to get stuck in the elevator if blown up in it;
  • Marksman, Medic, Assault: fixed the bug where it was possible to pass through some objects on the map.

Palm Road

  • Clearing: fixed the bug where it was possible to disable the story bot in a place inaccessible to the player.

Emir Residence

  • Fixed the bug due to which textures were missing in different parts of the map;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the operator hung in the air after climbing over the obstacle on the second floor of the main building;
  • Fixed the bug due to which bots could get stuck on the roof;
  • Fixed the bug due to which players were pushed out when they came close to the corner of one of the walls;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the player could fall into the ground on the first floor of the main building.

Shopping Mall

  • Onslaught (Legend): fixed the behavior of the bots appearing near the toy store;
  • Assault Shaowei: fixed the issue due to which Xigou Robot-Companion would drive through an escalator.

Caravanserai

  • Changes in the PvP version of the map;
  • Changes in the PvE version of the map;
  • Clearing, Special Operation: the mission has been updated in PvE modes.

Amal Harbor

  • Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to fall underground;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the sound of the ability was not played in one of the rooms.

Al-Malik Hotel

  • Fixed incorrect camera behavior that occurred when approaching crates;
  • Adjusted the spawn location of one of the bots to avoid the possibility of seeing the spawn process;
  • Frontline. Fixed the bug due to which it was impossible to climb over one of the covers;
  • Frontline, Hacking. Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to shoot through the joinings of some objects. For example, it was possible to shoot through the joining of the cabinet and the wall;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the sound of the environment of the Forest map could be played;
  • Clearing, Special Operation. Fixed the bug due to which the repairing car model was missing in the alternative weather version of the map.

Object 903

  • Clearing, Special Operation. Fixed the bug due to which mission objects could be marked with the [C] key incorrectly.

Dam

  • Fixed the bug due to which textures could disappear. It usually occurred when the player was standing on the stairs;
  • Clearing, Special Operation. Fixed the bug due to which mission objects could be marked with the [C] key incorrectly;
  • Fixed the bug due to which thrown objects could fall through the ground.

Forest

  • Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to see the non-playable area under the map;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the invisible part of the bunker door obstructed shooting;
  • Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to drop into an area from which it was impossible to get out;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the bot did not hold the cart in the losing cutscene;
  • Fixed the issue that could cause the player to fall through rocks and wood floors;
  • Changed the location of one ammo crate;
  • Changed the location of the ammo crate on the minimap visible during loading;
  • Fixed the bug due to which it was possible to fall through the rocks in the center of the map after jumping off them;
  • Fixed bugs due to which it was possible to climb some objects without pressing the [Space] button;
  • Added bots with gas masks to the gas room;
  • Clearing, Special Operation: fixed the bug due to which the door opened by bots went through the wall of the bunker;
  • Fixed the issue that caused incorrect fire marks to appear on surfaces;
  • Fixed the bug due to which two bosses could appear in the finale;
  • Now, gas appears in the airlock during the boss fight;
  • Fixed the bug due to which drones moved around the location incorrectly;
  • The extraction stage after the bossfight: when defeated before the timer expires, the «Time is up» message will now be displayed;
  • Adjusted the position of the glow stick near one of the crates.

Language

  • Changed the "hold/release" text to "hold/toggle" in the game settings;
  • Updated weapon descriptions for all operators;
  • Fixed the error in the name of the Al-Malik Hotel map that was on the loading screen and in tooltips.

GUI

  • Updated the tooltip for the Polygon emblem;
  • Updated the operator portraits;
  • Fixed the bug due to which an extra role icon could appear when obtaining a Camo from a Container;
  • Store Showcase. Fixed the issue that caused the banner to switch to the next slide after purchasing a Legendary Outfit.

Battle GUI

  • Added a visual display of remaining charges for Team Combat Reserves.

Animation

  • Added new animations for Adrenaline and Ammo reserves application;
  • Ominous Penalty Emote. The pumpkin hit sound is synchronized with the animation;
  • Fixed bugs in Slap finishing off. Previously, the operator’s hand could move incorrectly;
  • Bot movement animations have been adjusted.

Tech Changes

  • Fixed the bug due to which the brightness in HQ changed after adjusting any setting. It used to come back to normal after a battle;
  • Enable Text Chat setting. Fixed the bug due to which the player could see text in the chat with the setting disabled;
  • Settings section. Fixed the bug due to which the drop-down menu did not disappear if the window was closed using [ESC];
  • In the launcher, it is now possible to limit the download speed and quickly open the game folder;
  • A maintenance in progress indicator added to the launcher;
  • In the launcher, the Restore button is now called Restore Files. When pressed, the game files will be restored, and the anti-cheat library will be reinstalled.

SOUND

  • Flashbang grenades: fixed the bug due to which the grenade explosion sound would play twice;
  • Updated the enemy hitting sound;
  • Now the operator will report a bag with armor plates if the player marks it with the [C] button;
  • Fixed the bug due to which the sound notification was incorrectly played when marking an ammo crate/reserve with the [C] button.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Caravanserai. In Onslaught mode, the capture zone is displayed incorrectly during the data transfer stage.
