On December 11, Caliber Gets Its 1.0 Update!
This has become real only thanks to your support and interest to the game during all these five years since OBT. All of you has become an essential part of our journey.
Caliber is a unique world where everyone will find something to their liking.
Both hardcore e-sportsmen, who strive for victories, and players, who just want to spend an evening in captivating battles, exist together here. It’s you, our community, who fill the game with soul and make it what it is.
We are happy to celebrate this date with you and are preparing the biggest update in the Caliber’s history.
The 0.22.2 update has been released. We added the Spring Break Battle Pass with the Liberty Legendary Outfits, conducted an operator rebalance, updated the Onslaught mode, replaced all remaining 2D scopes with their 3D versions, fixed a number of issues and more.
With the release of update 0.22.2, the new Spring Break Battle Pass will be added to Caliber, featuring Liberty Legendary Outfits for the American CST all-female operator collection as a reward.
In the new RE: Balance, we will buff the use of gas and add a new visual effect for it, merge the EMP and Confused effects together and, of course, change the characteristics of some operators.
For update 0.22.2, we’ve rebuilt Onslaught mode. This means that now we’ll be able to apply nuanced tweaks and add new mechanics to the mode more easily. One such mechanic will be added on the day of the update.
In the next update 0.22.2, we are going to replace all remaining 2D scopes with their 3D versions.
In the next update, the combat hint screen which opens when you press the [F1] key will be redesigned. It will become much more informative and pleasant to the eye.
With the help of the combat hint, you can examine each operator on your team. Equipment, special gear, ability — information about all important features of the operators will be available directly in battle. You will see even the reserves and skills.
Finally, in the Spectator mode, you will get access to information about both teams. Press [F2] to switch to the second team.
Here is a video to show you how it will work.
We plan to make the UI more informative and intuitive, which should have a positive impact on gameplay.
We have prepared the Depot map for the Threshold game mode.
You will be able to visit the transport hub in this mode in the 0.22.2 update. No need to purchase any tickets.
